Burke wins overall halfpipe title...LA PLAGNE, FRANCE (March 20, 2011)

X Games Champion Sarah Burke of Squamish, B.C. reigned today, winning both FIS World Cup halfpipe events here and taking home the crystal globe as the overall points leader for the season.

Her teammate, World Champion Rosalind Groenewoud, from Calgary, Alta., was second overall for the season and showed a lot of moxie as she competed here with a broken clavicle.

Canadian Mogul Skiing is a video aimed to inspire the next generation of mogul skiers and give them the basic skills to move up to the next level.

It was the brainchild of former National Mogul Team member Warren Tanner, who worked with current and former members of the Team and their coaches to create a dynamic, current and practical mogul skills video.

Tanner believes his own success was due, in part, to reviewing tips from the pros. “When I was a kid I would watch mogul videos over and over all summer long. Those videos are out-dated now, so I wanted to give kids the next generation of mogul video and I wanted to use their heroes, like Olympic Champion Alex Bilodeau, to teach them proper technique,” said Tanner.
